Autumn Fairy Guardians - Die-Cut Botanical Fairies
For everyday creativity. Not perfection.
Begin anyway.
The autumn garden has its guardians.
A fairy watches over the apples.
Another protects the pumpkins.
Another keeps watch among the berries, leaves, and late-season plants.
Autumn Fairy Guardians is a collection of 15 individually die-cut fairies, each created as the protector of an autumn botanical treasure.
The collection is visually inspired by the delicate botanical fairy illustrations of Cecily Barker, whose work helped shape the beloved tradition of fairies living among flowers, leaves, and plants.
These are not Cecily Barker illustrations, reproductions, or official works. They are newly created, AI-assisted illustrations inspired by that vintage botanical fairy aesthetic and individually curated for this collection.
Each fairy has her own plant or fruit to protect.
And each one is ready to become part of your next page.
Archive Notes
This collection began with a love of botanical fairies.
I have always been drawn to the tradition of imagining fairies as tiny inhabitants of the natural world — creatures who live among flowers, leaves, fruits, and plants.
Cecily Barker's beautiful fairy illustrations were an important inspiration for the visual direction of this collection: delicate figures, botanical surroundings, and the feeling that an entire little world might be hiding among the plants.
For this collection, I wanted to take that idea one step further.
Instead of simply creating fairies surrounded by autumn foliage, I imagined that each fairy had a job.
Each one is a protector.
A guardian of something that grows during autumn.
One watches over apples.
Another protects pumpkins.
Others are connected to different autumn fruits, plants, and botanical specimens.
I wanted every fairy to feel as though she belonged to the particular plant she was given to protect.
The result is a small gathering of autumn guardians — 15 individual characters, each with her own botanical responsibility.
They are little pieces of an imagined world where the changing season has its own caretakers.

A Small Reminder
Everything worth growing deserves a guardian.
Maybe that's what makes autumn feel magical.
The apples don't simply grow.
The pumpkins don't simply ripen.
The berries don't simply appear.
Perhaps somewhere among the leaves, tiny guardians are watching over them.
Thoughtfully Made
This collection is inspired by the botanical fairy illustration style of Cecily Barker, particularly the delicate relationship between fairy figures and the plants they inhabit.
These are not illustrations by Cecily Barker and are not reproductions or official licensed works.
The artwork was created with AI assistance and directed toward a vintage botanical fairy aesthetic, with each fairy intentionally paired with a specific autumn fruit or plant.
The 15 illustrations are individually printed, die cut, and carefully prepared by hand in our Arkansas studio.
