Cabinet of Curiosities
For everyday creativity. Not perfection.
Begin anyway.
What makes something worth keeping?
From person to person it might vary, but in essence, it doesn’t have to be rare or valuable, but it must have a meaning to the collector.
Cabinet of Curiosities is the fourth issue of Beautiful Beginnings, inspired by the simple pleasure of finding something small and wondering about it.
This collection began on a walk through a state park.
Among the sounds of birds and water, I noticed a small rock with the image of a tiny fossil.
I brought it home to collect.
And that small discovery became the beginning of a cabinet of curiosities.
Archive Notes
A curiosity doesn't have to be extraordinary.
It can be a tiny fossil hidden in a piece of rock.
A strange shape.
A small object found on a walk.
Something you almost stepped over.
The moment you decide to bring it home, look at it again, and wonder about it, it becomes part of your collection.
Cabinet of Curiosities began with one small rock.
Not because it was valuable.
Because I noticed it.
There is something wonderful about collecting the things that make us curious — little fragments of the world that invite us to ask questions, look closer, and remember where we found them.
You don't need a museum.
You just need to begin noticing.
Begin anyway.
Inside the Archive
Each Beautiful Beginnings archive includes:
Four coordinating sticker sheets:
-
Archive Plate A — Foundations
-
Archive Plate B — Connectors
-
Archive Plate C — Focal Pieces
-
Archive Plate D — Finishing Details
Three coordinating ordinary papers
Unlike many stationery collections, Beautiful Beginnings intentionally includes simple, everyday papers instead of designer paper. They are meant to be replaced, layered, written on, and combined with the papers you already have at home.
Each paper is selected to work beautifully with book pages, vintage paper, and neutral scraps.
Start Here envelope
A small selection of coordinating pieces designed to help you create one or two small compositions before exploring the rest of the archive.
Curator's Notes

Each issue follows a simple creative flow:
Begin with the papers.
Archive Plate A — Build your foundation.

Archive Plate C — Choose a focal piece.
Archive Plate D — Finish with the smallest details.

Your page. Your rules.
