Sometimes it is the smallest paper pieces that make a page feel complete. I enjoy adding little tickets because they naturally create layers and invite the eye to slow down and look more closely.

But I also love them simply because they are tickets. There is something delightful about little tickets. They have a wonderful way of inviting us into imaginary places and little adventures. A ticket can belong to a train that never existed, a museum from another century, or a journey that only happens inside a journal.

Because they are made from white cardstock, they are also meant to become your own. You can paint them, stamp them, write on them, or draw on them. Every ticket can tell a different story.
