Some things are beautiful simply because someone cared enough to preserve them.

These postage stamp stickers began with an old book: Les Timbres de Russie, published in 1893.

I came across it and immediately fell in love.

Postage stamps have always been one of my biggest obsessions, and these were particularly beautiful with intricate borders, typography, symbols, and tiny details that deserved another life.

I restored the original stamp designs, added color, and transformed them into stickers so they can once again become part of letters, journals, tags, collages, and everyday creative work.

Archive Notes

I came across an old book about Russian postage stamps and couldn't stop looking at it.

The book was published in 1893, and its pages were filled with beautiful examples of postage stamps and postal labels.

There was something about them that immediately caught my attention.

The typography.

The borders.

The tiny illustrations.

The unusual shapes.

The limited palettes.

The incredible amount of detail packed into such small pieces.

Postage stamps have always been one of my biggest obsessions, so finding this book felt like finding a small archive of things I already loved.

I restored the stamp designs from the book, carefully preserving their original character while adding color and preparing them to become stickers.

Now these little pieces of postal history can leave the archive again.

They can become part of your next letter.

A journal page.

A tag.

A collage.

Or simply something beautiful tucked into the corner of a page.
