When people think of birds, they often imagine colorful parrots or rare species. I found myself drawn to the birds we pass every day without giving them much thought—the small songbirds that fill gardens with music and quietly become part of our daily lives.
I intentionally chose a gentle palette of greys and warm oranges because these birds feel familiar and easy to welcome onto a page. My hope is that they remind us that beauty isn't always found in the extraordinary; sometimes it's already singing outside our window.
